Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most famous role was that of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student at Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her passion for performing on stage. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna started her acting career with Chicago-area theaters for a couple of years. Then she moved to TV and film. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a Star in several TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's, she was given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully in addition to Deadwood was another movie she was a part of. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio series that was released that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's relationship with Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in the marriage he shares with Skyler are mirrored in the show.
