Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been an outstanding psychologist since 1993, and the director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. It is widely believed that she was the one who initiating the contemporary scientific study of children's eyewitness memory and child victims as witnesses in lawful situations. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive, she has received numerous grants and has been the recipient of numerous awards international and national levels. She consults with numerous nations and organizations around the world on policies and research on child victimization in the court system. She is a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Practice and Policy American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 57). Professor Goodman is also a member of Psychonomics Society, the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of American Psychological Association Divisions for Policy for Children and Families and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
